The Everett Philharmonic Orchestra is auditioning for two seats in the viola section. Applicants must be available for at least 80% of scheduled services during the 2026/27 season. Auditions will be conducted behind a screen to ensure anonymity. Candidates offered the position must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States no later than November 1, 2026.   1. One page of a solo work of your choice (performed without accompaniment)
  2. Mendelssohn: Symphony No. 4 “Italian," Movement IV. Saltarello, mm. 196-215 (via IMSLP)
  3. Brahms: Symphony No. 2, Movement I, mm. 82-105 (Breitkopf & Härtel edition via IMSLP)
  4. Sight-reading

Pay: $55 per service. Approximately 13 services are scheduled during the 2026/27 season. Neither travel nor housing reimbursements are available.

Regular rehearsals are held at Trinity Episcopal Church in Everett. Dress rehearsals and concerts will be at the Everett Civic Auditorium.
